This project is aimed primarily at users in a Systems Administration role. In these roles a person would often come into contact with CSV files, and be required to sift through the data within them to find specific information. Often times this data will be on *nix (Unix, Linux, Solaris) server systems which would have no GUI (Graphical User Interface). This would mean of course that there would be no opportunity to use graphical spreadsheet programs which can access CSV files. CsvSQL was written for just such systems, although it can also run on any 32-bit Microsoft Windows installation should it be desired.
